![]() ![]() They all help out in battle, you can trade resources and gear with them, and they generally keep you company during the dark days.Īs part of our Back to Fallout 4 guide, this page contains details on all the companions in Fallout 4, their likes and dislikes, and how to get them in your party. There are 13 companions in the base game, and a further three and a bit (we'll explain) once you collect all the add-ons, as in the Fallout 4 Game of the Year re-issue. During your travels you'll have the chance to find and recruit different companions, some human, others not. Here's how to find and recruit useful and lethal travelling buddies.įallout 4 may be a single-player game but that doesn't mean you wander the Commonwealth alone. The only point I kind of agree with is character diversity, which will be slightly remedied with the prospects of Volo and Hansil at the very least.Don't go it alone in Fallout 4. Back in the day, a lot of games used to be big sausage fests. The comments seem to want either 20+ companions in early access, more pretty characters (just wait for mods) or seem to whine about there being 2 male mages, as if equal gender distribution is an absolute must over classes. Other than that, I just hope they go with interesting and fitting characters. Can only cramp so many characters in one place. ![]() Early Access is mainly just the crash site and a druid grove / refugee camp. Chances are likely there'll be quite a few more once Baldur's gate opens up (maybe 4 more if they'll go with every class). These at the very least seemed to hint at it in their dialogue and Volo and Hansil end up staying at the camp. Other than the 5 characters already recruitable, it seems very likely to me that Hansil (Druid), Volo (bard) and the female tiefling runaway (ranger) will be playable at launch too. Chose decapitation in the Camp dialogue with him ( night 2) Suppose, maybe the approval rate and the story point you are matter to get this dialogue? 5. Let Arka kill Sazza (+1) and then said Astarion that refugees are desperate (+1) 6. Kicked the squirrel in the Druid Grove 5. Killed Gimblebok & gang near the ruins 3. Deceived Tieflings and asked Lae’zel to say please to free her from the cage 2. ![]() If it can help anyone, that’s what I did for approvals: 1. So, why I am shocked: I didn’t see a single dream yet I don’t know that he’s a vampire and anything about his background, but somehow I got this scene. It starts when he talks about stars being especially bright tonight, and after - no spoilers. Guys! Hells, what I’ve discovered! I started another playthrough, and got 7 approvals of Astarion and 4 nights at the Camp so far, and A DIALOGUE with him, that I never had at my first playthrough! I wonder if I am alone in this? The dialogue is very flirty: in fact, Astarion shows up that he has fallen in love with you. I really hope for better companions in the future. Shadowheart gets on my nerves with her secret-mongering and non-confrontional ways, I know being a priestress of Shar and such - maybe even unwillingly, but still, I don't warm up to her. in blighted village, talking with goblins and avoiding a fight, makes no sense for me in a DD game. But I'm usually not avoiding fights against monsters - f.e. Additionaly she's difficult to manage and doesn't really fit into my playstyle, being a human fighter/mystic knight subclass with noble background, so that he isn't just a brutish warrior, but can also be eloquent, convince people and has got some knowledge. Shadowheart isn't very attractive for a half elf and looks rather mediocre. Lae is ugly and I feel no sympathy for her. Only two females limits the choices for a male player character anyway. There is none, with whom I could imagine a romance for my character. I'm dealing with it as it is, but I hope for better companions on the road to Baldur's Gate in future chapters. I'm not very happy with the companions so far. ![]()
